Carla Jean Alexander

Carla Jean Alexander, 62, of Lawrenceville went home to her Lord and Savior on September 21, 2016. Born in Illinois, she lived in Gwinnett County most of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Ella Flannigan; brother, Gary Flannigan; granddaughter, Lilly Alexander; and grandson, Michael Alexander, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, James Alexander, Jr.; children, Amy (James) Viars of Powell, TN; and Michael (Paige) Alexander of Cumming, GA; granddaughter, Madeline Alexander; siblings, Leland (Carol) Flannigan, Frankfort, IL; Robert (Sheila) Flannigan, Decatur, TN; Linda Flannigan, Decatur, TN; Patricia (Eddie) Poole, Ringgold, GA; and Nancy (Steve) Roach, Harrison, TN; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at 1:00 p.m., at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
