Carmen Charles Trocina was born on January 23, 1928 in Elizabeth New Jersey. He served in the Navy and returned to marry his wife of 61 years, Mary Ann Trocina. He followed in his Dad’s footsteps as a brick mason leaving a legacy of beautiful brick art work all over NJ and Georgia. He enjoyed spending time with his family, travelling, watching football and tennis, and most importantly a enjoying a good meal with family and friends. He is survived by his wife Mary Ann, his children and their spouses, Diane and Ralph Shields, Laura Kavis, Chuck and Linda Trocina, Robert Trocina, Rick Smith, and Leon Kavis along with his seven grandchildren, Stephanie and Kevin Shields, Nicole and Alyssa Trocina, Matthew, Eric, and Nick Kavis along with his Sister, Marie DePaola, nephew and wife Frank and Jackie DePaola, and niece and husband Donna and Carl Hoffman. He passed away peacefully on October 30th, after a short bout with Pneumonia, surrounded by all of his family members at his bedside. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, November 4, 2016 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 801 Tom Smith Rd SW,, Lilburn, GA 30047. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 3, 2016 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Friday, November 4, 2016 from 11:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
