Carolyn W. Ferguson

Carolyn Ferguson, age 89, of Ormond Beach, FL, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025. Born in Stone Mountain, Georgia, Carolyn lived a life marked by love, kindness, and dedication to others.

She married her high school sweetheart, David, and together they shared a beautiful marriage that spanned 60 years. Their bond was a true testament to lasting love and partnership. Carolyn’s warm spirit and giving heart were evident throughout her life, particularly in her work as a hairdresser. She spent many years working alongside her sister in their family salon before continuing her calling by bringing care and beauty to the residents of a nursing home in Atlanta for over two decades.

Carolyn had a gift for making others feel seen and cared for, whether through a simple haircut or a heartfelt conversation. Most recently, she brought that same warmth and grace to the community at Paradise Point Assisted Living, where she had been a resident for the past three years.

She is survived by her devoted daughter, Kim (Kimme), and her husband, Brian Lindahl. Carolyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David, whose memory she cherished dearly.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM, at Wages and Sons Funeral Home, 1040 Main Street, Stone Mountain, GA 30083. Carolyn will be laid to rest at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens.

Carolyn’s legacy of love, compassion, and service will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing her.
