Carolyn Jane Johnson

Carolyn Jane Johnson (Kelley), age 69, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018. Born in Opp, Alabama, on January 1, 1949, Carolyn Jane Johnson was the youngest of five children to Edith and Alto Kelley. She grew up in Columbus, Georgia, where she met her husband, Edward Glenn Johnson, of almost 53 years. She is survived in death by her dear husband, her son Keith, her daughter Christy, her son-in-law Jeff Stephenson, and her two granddaughters Reagan and Rylan. She fought a hard fight and found peace in the evening of June 13th surrounded by all of her family in her home. Jane was the most amazing wife, mother, grandmother, neighbor, and friend to all of those who knew her. She never knew a stranger, and her family often joked she could talk to a doorknob. She was a strong Christian woman who loved to read, shop for antiques, and spend precious time with her two grand-daughters who were the light of her life. Her life was a blessing, her time a treasure, and she will be missed beyond measure. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Galilean Baptist Church, 1390 Monfort Rd., Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
