CAROLYN JANE OERDING DECEMBER 27, 1935 – MARCH 19, 2016 Carolyn Jane Oerding, 80, of Dunwoody, GA, died March19, 2016. A memorial service will be held at Rivercliff Lutheran Church, Sandy Springs, GA at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23rd. Private interment will be in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery, Concordia, MO. Jane was born on December 27, 1935 at Alma, MO. She was the daughter of Harry and Dora Lange Bredehoeft. She was a 1953 graduate of Higginsville High School, Higginsville, MO. She lived in the Kansas City, MO area from 1958 to 2008 and moved to Dunwoody, GA in 2008. She married Evert W. Oerding on March 28, 2009. Jane believed in Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and practiced her discipleship to the Lord Jesus Christ at Rivercliff Lutheran Church. She loved gardening, singing in the choir at church, and genealogy. She is survived by her husband of the home, Evert Oerding, two sons, Randall Schroer (Joni), Overland Park, KS, and Gregory Schroer, Raymore, MO. She is survived by her two granddaughters, Lauren Schroer and Haley Schroer. She is also survived by four step children, Marsha Grimes (Charles), Melissa Flood (Jeff), Jennifer Richardson, and Matt Oerding (Rachel) and nine step grandchildren, Chase Grimes (Katie), Cord Grimes, Natalie Flood, Alex Flood, Jack Flood, Taylor Richardson, Ryan Richardson, Reece Oerding, and Kate Oerding. She is survived by two sisters, Ruby Dean Frerking of Concordia, MO and Joyce Kuhl of Lubbock, TX, sister-in-law Helen Bredehoeft, and brother-in-law Norman Bauer. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Margie Bauer, two brothers, Merle Bredehoeft and L. L. Bredehoeft, brother-in-laws Raymond Frerking, E. G. Holeman and Ronald Kuhl, sister-in-law Rebecca Bredehoeft Stanchfield and nephew, Paul Bauer. The family suggests memorial contributions to the donor’s choice.
