Chad Micah Wright

In life, Chad was a beloved Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Grandfather and Friend. Chad was cherished by his family and friends for his fun-loving nature, warmth and generosity.

His greatest accomplishment in life was that of being a Dad and Grandfather. He loved and cherished his daughter, son and their children with his amazing heart of gold.

Chad is survived by his daughter, Abigail Nicole Helton-Wright (Zachary Bourgeois), children Daniel and Elijah with third grandchild in April 2026; son, Kye Paxton Helton; Mother and Father in Law Norma and Kent Purpura.

He is survived by his brother, Charles E. Wright, Jr., his children Emily Ann Wright (Matt Schwingel) and Nicholas A. Moffatt.

He is also survived by his Aunts, Johnie O. Adams and Diane Wright Orr, in addition to numerous cousins in the E. C. and Julia Wright family.

Chad was preceded in death by his parents Charles (Gutty) E. Wright, Sr. and Gloria Jean Adams Wright; Grandparents John E. and Louise M. Adams; E. C. and Julia Bowen Wright in addition to the Mother of his children, Rachel Helton.

We will always hold Chad within our hearts and souls. He will be greatly and deeply missed by his family and friends. His memory will forever be treasured in our hearts. If he could speak to us today he would say that today and tomorrow is not promised. Be kind always; love and care deeply for each other. Never forget to say the words “love you” and “love you more” often; words that he learned from his Mom.

At his request, no formal service is planned at this time. His family will take this time to grieve privately; and, a Celebration of Life in his memory is being planned at a later date.
