Cherrie Ann Bergandi

d. November 26, 2017

Dr. Cherrie Ann Bergandi of Holmen, WI passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the age of 57. She is survived by Charles Bergandi-husband, Phil Hull-father, Carrie Sheehan-sister, Ryan Sheehan-nephew, Catherine Sheehan-niece, Brian Bergandi-step son and Tyler Bergandi-step-grandson. She was a long-time educator in Habersham County Georgia, CVTC in Eau Claire, WI and her final position as VP of Academic Affairs at Western Technical College in La Crosse, WI. Cherrie was born to Barbara and Phil Hull on November 12, 1960. Cherrie believed in empowering women, giving students the tools they needed to be successful and a strong leader. She challenged her faculty to be their best. She supported veterans and their causes as her husband was a Vietnam War veteran. Cherrie lived life to the fullest. A sweet soul that was taken way too early. "Goodbyes hurt the most when the story was not finished." ( Re-quoted by Cherrie's Assistant Kendra Thorson). Many staff and friends have asked about making a gift in memory of Cherrie. Because of this generous outpouring of support from both our campus community and our friends at Western Technical College, Cherrie’s friends and family have established the Cherrie Bergandi Memorial Scholarship Fund at Chippewa Valley Technical College Foundation, Inc.
