Cheryl M. Kindall, age 67, of Stone Mountain, Georgia, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving husband, son, granddaughters, and great-grandchild. Cheryl is survived by her mother, three sisters, and one brother.
She grew up in the small town of Roanoke, Virginia, and moved to Atlanta in the early 1980s. Cheryl had a deep love for music, dancing, traveling, and spending time working in her yard. She was a joyful, life-loving person who was always seen with a big smile on her face. Her positive energy drew people to her, and she had many friends who loved her deeply.
From a young age, Cheryl was known for her generous spirit. As a child, she worked small jobs to save money so she could buy Christmas presents for her family and friends. That same giving heart followed her throughout her life. In later years, she founded a charity dedicated to creating care packages for the homeless during the Christmas season. For more than 30 years, she collected donations and partnered with local police departments’ homeless task forces to ensure those in need received help and kindness. Her husband will continue this charity in her honor. Cheryl lived a simple life and never cared for material things. She will be deeply missed by the many friends and loved ones whose lives she touched.
We love you, Cheryl. Rest in peace, my love.
