Clara Walker Callaway Mrs.

Clara “Babe” Walker Callaway passed away on December 12, 2014 in Lawrenceville, Georgia. Clara was born in Bessemer, Alabama on May 30, 1936 to Robert Emmett Walker and Annie Laurie Shaw. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Curtis Callaway and step-daughter, Robin Callaway, as well as her identical twin, Ann Walker Bullock  and siblings Robert (Bob) Walker, Elsie Walker Horton, Jack Walker, and John Walker. She is survived by her daughters, Laurie Callaway Lewis (Joey) of Snellville, and Lisa Callaway of Lawrenceville, and her stepson, Mark Callaway (Lisa) of Marietta. She is also survived by her granddaughters and grandsons: Andrew Baker of Atlanta, Audrey Merkel (Hugh) of Atlanta, Elise McIver (Andrew) of Baton Rouge, Suzanne Baker of Atlanta, Max Baldwin of Lawrenceville, and Curtis Baldwin of Lawrenceville, as well as beloved nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 27, at 3:00 p.m. at Wages & Sons Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, with visitation prior to the service at 2:00.
