Claudia Ann Miller, age 83, passed away on May 31, 2026. She was born in Harrisburg, PA and was the third oldest of 5 children. Claudia graduated from Ypsilanti High School in 1961. In high school, Claudia was a cheerleader and played volleyball. Upon graduating from high school, Claudia put herself through Cleary College in Ypsilanti, Michigan while working at General Motors. She earned a degree in Business Administration. During her time at General Motors, she met her husband David L. Miller. He proposed to her after their first date; they were married for 60 years. Along the way they had 3 children, David, Chris and Lindsay. Claudia has an active mother raising 3 children while her husband traveled on business weeks out of the month. She never missed a game cheering for her children. She was always in the stands at football, baseball and basketball games and travel around the state watching track meets. Claudia was born in Pennsylvania but also resided in Michigan and Florida before settling in Georgia. She worked as an Administrative Assistant in a medical clinic in Vero Beach, Florida and in the franchise department at Domino’s Farms, headquarters for Domino’s Pizza in Ann Arbor, Michigan before retiring to Georgia.
Claudia had a friendly disposition and a wonderful spirit. When people met her, they remembered her, those that knew her, loved her. Her passions were gardening, family and ice coffee, 4 Splenda’s and 3 creams. She carried out her tradition of being in the stands supporting her children to watch her grandchildren and great grandchildren. If she couldn’t be there physically, she called to ask how they did. Claudia is survived by her three children David, Chris and Lindsay as well as her 12 grandchildren, Richie, David, Megan, Drake, Michael, Isabella, Ashley, Tyler, Avery, Lucas, Christian, Grace and four great grandchildren Arabella, Thomas, Charlie and Knox.
A rosary and memorial mass will be held in August at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Lawrenceville, GA. In lieu of flowers, please donate to her favorite charity, St. Judes Children Hospital.
