LOGANVILLE, Ga. – Clois Dale George, 76, of Loganville, GA, went to be with the Lord on April 23, 2016. Clois was born March 26, 1940 in West Prairie Township, Poinsett, AR. He grew up in Arkansas but also lived in Michigan, Ohio and finally Georgia. One of Clois’s first jobs was as a route truck driver for Stim-U-Plant. By the time he finished his career there he had worked his way up to national sales manager. He was a member of the Masons and his hobbies included hunting, fishing, camping and boating. He loved to have large family gatherings at his home and was always happy to see new friends be brought along. Clois was a member of Faith Community Church of Grayson. Married on July 3, 1986 in Lawrenceville, GA, he is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 30 years, Carol. Clois is survived by his seven children: Mike Brunton of Columbus, OH; Regina Bunn (Tim) of Burlington, KY; Dale George (Kathy) of Crawfordville, GA; Gordon Mills (Marilyn) of Winder, GA; Joyceann Solomon (Jeff) of Bold Springs, GA; Lisa Reynolds (Ken) of Bethlehem, GA; Phillip George (Tammy) of Loganville, GA. He is also survived by his siblings: Lendol George (Ginny) of Lapeer, MI; Jean Ahart of Fort Smith, AR; Jack George (Wanda) of Vilonia, AR. His legacy is the many grandchildren he leaves behind: Tony George, Wally Brunton, Chrissy Baker, Shelly Reynolds, Tiffany Page, Rachel Abbott (Brandon), Cory Solomon, Ivy Bonner, Echo Mills, Cody Solomon, Dylan Bunn, Michael Brunton, Sydney Boyd, Cady Solomon, and Great-Grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents: Alton Ray & Addie Hazel George of Newport, AR; brother-in-law Clifton (Cliff) Ahart of Fort Smith, AR; grandsons Joshua & Jeremie Page of Lawrenceville, GA. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel with pastor Steve Mason officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA, 770-277-4550.
