Cosimo Trapani, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, as a resident of Gwinnett County, Georgia. Born in Italy on August 10, 1945, Cosimo carried the rich traditions and passion of his heritage throughout his life.
A proud graduate of Giovinazzo Primary School, Cosimo went on to become an active member of the Italian Association in New York. He made his mark as the owner of the well-loved “Little Italy Pizza,” where his love for family, food, and community came together.
Cosimo was a man full of life — passionate, zealous, and joyful. He enjoyed nothing more than gathering with his loved ones, often over a good glass of wine, sharing laughter and making memories. His presence made his family feel deeply loved and cherished.
A devoted member of St. Marguerite d’Youville Catholic Church, Cosimo lived his life with faith, generosity, and spirit.
He is survived by his loving wife, Arcangela Trapani, and his cherished daughters, Rosa Trapani and Speranza Trapani. His legacy of love, laughter, and family will live on through all who knew him.
A visitation will be held from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
A Funeral Mass will take place at 10:30 AM on Thursday, May 1st, 2025, at St. Marguerite d’Youville Catholic Church, 85 Gloster Rd NW #100, Lawrenceville, GA 30044.
Interment will follow at East Shadowlawn Memorial Gardens, 87 Scenic Hwy S, Lawrenceville, GA 30046.
Cosimo’s memory will forever remain a blessing to his family, friends, and community.
