Daniel B Palmer III

Daniel B Palmer III passed away on June 22, 2026 at the age of 74.

Dan was born on December 5, 1951 in Camilla, GA. He was the son of the late Daniel B Palmer Jr. (Borea) and Virginia Dunn Palmer. Dan was a 1969 graduate of Mitchell County High School. He married the love of his life, Susan Nevels Palmer, in 1970. Dan worked with Mitchell EMC as a lineman, and on the family farm with his father and three brothers for many years. He then moved to the Atlanta area to pursue a career in the computer industry.

Dan was a member of the Lawrenceville Church of Christ and a loving family man to his two sons and two grandsons. He will be remembered for his jovial, social spirit and his love of family. Dan enjoyed sharing his love of food and cooking with others, especially at family gatherings.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Susan Nevels Palmer; sons Daniel B Palmer IV (Kristi) and Matthew F Palmer; grandsons Daniel B Palmer V and Hunter C Palmer; brothers, Jimmy Palmer (Angie), Hugh Palmer (Madorah), and Andy Palmer (Nancy); sister, Kay Palmer; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Wages and Sons Funeral Home, Gwinnett Chapel located at 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Visitation will also be held at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla, GA on Friday, June 26 from 5-7 p.m.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, at Oakview Cemetery in Camilla GA. Elder Rob Dysart will preside.
