David P. Brayton, Sr.

David Paul Brayton, 76, of Decatur, Georgia died January 31, 2012. His family will celebrate his life at a memorial service which will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 4th, at Wages Funeral Home in Stone Mountain. Mr. Brayton was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on October 31, 1935. He was retired from the Dekalb County Extension Service where he worked as an assistant county agent. He also served his country in the United States Air Force. Preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Dorothy Brayton, he is survived by his sons, Danny Brayton, Robert Brayton, Thomas Brayton and David Brayton, Jr. his grandchildren Stephanie, Michael, Lori, Sean and Kelley. He is survived also by his sisters Patti Taylor and Cynthia Brayton along with his brother Paul Scott Brayton and niece Lauri Ridley and nephews Steve Ridley, Blair Foster and Jeremy Brayton. David will be remembered dearly for his love for Jesus Christ and his family. John 3:16 Pastor Lamar Welch of Daniel Drive Baptist Church will conduct the memorial service.
