David Lucas

In loving memory of our father, David Lucas (Dave) age 74, of Lithonia GA who passed away peacefully on December 30, 2023. He will truly be missed by those who knew and loved him.

Dave Lucas was born June 5, 1949 to Ewen and Sylvyan Lucas, in Kenya, East Africa. He married Martha B. Lucas (Simon) with whom he had 3 children.

For over 30 years, he worked at Emory University located in Decatur, GA. Dave was the Supervisor Facility Maintenance Technician. He was known for his organization, attention to detail, kindness, and hardwork.

Dave enjoyed being with his family who he always put first. He was a comedian, dj, chef, bartender, voice of reason, bass fisherman, repairman, mechanic, a jack of all trades.

He is survived by Martha his wife of 50 years, his son Kevin (Chenay), his daughters Cheryl Chustz (Chadd), Christine Stogner (Shannon), his grandchildren Catherine, Allison, Chanse, Lucas, Kaleb, Aeden, Laela, Makayla and Simon.

The funeral service will be held at Corpus Christi Catholic Church at 600 Mountain View Drive @2pm, Friday January 5th. Final resting place is Melwood Cemetery. 5170 E Ponce de Leon Ave, Stone Mountain GA 30083
