Dawn Spooner Rouse

February 21, 1935 — October 30, 2017

Dawn Spooner Rouse, age 82 of Loganville, GA passed away on Monday, October 30, 2017. She was born on Thursday, February 21, 1935 to the late Stanley and Mamie Spooner in Maine. Dawn enjoyed staying active and going to the YMCA, and was a former member of the Decatur Civic Chorus. She was a faithful member of 12 Stone Church Snellville Campus. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by three brothers, Wayne, Allen, and Stanley, Jr. Spooner; and daughter-in-law, Jan Kent. She is survived by her husband, John Rouse III of Loganville, GA; sons, Michael Kent of LA, Jeffery Kent and wife, Carolyn of NC, John T. Rouse IV of IL; daughters, Tracie Kent Flink of GA, Elizabeth Robinson and husband, Allen of AL, Georgia Rice and husband, Dan of GA; sister, Janice Gallant and husband, Edwin of ME; grandchildren, Kristie Kent, Sara Kent, Jessica Kent, Rebbeca Kent, Jonathon Kent, Lauren Rogacki and husband, Ryan, Tyler Flink, Cole Flink, Rachael Mossman, Audrey Rouse, Brooke Coveney and husband, Michael, Trista Blankenship and husband, Paul, Virginia Rice, and Samuel Rice; six great-grandchildren; numerous nephews and nieces also survive. A celebration of Dawn’s life will be held on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM at 12 Stone Church Snellville Campus with Pastor Trey Hildebrandt officiating. Friends may visit with the family at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be directed toward the American Cancer Society P.O.
