Deborah Anne Dowling Ennis, 66, of Lawrenceville, GA died Tuesday surrounded by her loving family. She was born and raised in Syracuse, NY and attended O.C.C. and SUNY Brockport before marrying the love of her life. Deb moved with her family to Georgia in 1984 and has been a resident of Lawrenceville since 1986. She was employed by Gwinnett Legal Aide for 22 years and was instrumental in initiating the Gwinnett County Pro Bono Project for Atlanta Legal Aide. Deb was an avid international traveler. She worked closely as a sommelier to the wine industry. She was an avid reader, she enjoyed shopping, playing golf with Jack, watching her granddaughter's softball games, and spending time with family including her 4 granddaughters that she adored. Deb was a communicant of St. Marguerite D'Youville Catholic Church. Deb was predeceased by her father and mother, Robert and Jane Dowling, and brother, Baby Boy Dowling. Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Jack, son David (Jessica) of Perry Ohio, daughter Kim (Mike) of Lawrenceville, GA, granddaughters Morgan, Erin, Ryleigh and Colleen, sister and brother-in-law, Pam and Corky Sprague of Liverpool, NY, many cousins, nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, July 17, 2017 at St. Marguerite D’Youville Catholic Church, 85 Gloster Rd NW, Lawrenceville, GA 30044 with Father James Harrison officiation. Interment to follow at Eternal Hills Memory Gardens in Snellville, GA The family will receive friends and family from 4:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA. 770-277-4550.
