Deborah Lloyd

Deborah “Debbie” Lloyd, age 62, of Stone Mountain passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019. Born in Atlanta on July 11, 1957, she was the daughter of Jacqueline Hackle Smith and the late Raymond Smith. She was a member of Passion City Church of Atlanta. She was employed by the Smoke Rise Baptist Church for 22 years as their financial advisor. She also played the piano for the Stone Mountain First Baptist Church and Indian Creek Baptist Church in her early years. A Celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 4, 2020 at noon at the Smoke Rise Baptist Church. The body will be placed in the church at 11 AM Saturday and the family will receive friends on Friday, January 3, 2020 until 5 PM to 8 PM at Wages & Sons 1040 Main Street Stone Mountain, GA. Interment will follow in the Green Meadow Memorial Gardens in Conyers, Georgia. In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband, David Lloyd of Stone Mountain; Children, Robert Lloyd of Spartanburg, SC, Danny (Amie) Lloyd of Pendergrass, GA; two grandchildren, Leah and Mathew Lloyd. Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
