Dollie Elizabeth Carter, born in Alpharetta, GA on October 20, 1933, peacefully passed away in Smithville, TX on September 16, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Dollie was a vibrant spirit who cherished the 4 F’s: faith, family, food, and fun. She was a devoted mother, beloved grandmother, and a cherished friend to many. Her warmth and kindness touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Dollie is survived by her son, Keith Carter (Kathleen); her grandchildren, Autumn Currence (Jamie), Nicole Perkins (Brett), and Andrew Carter; and her great-grandchildren, Megan, Ceili, Kaitlyn, and Jarred.

She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband Howard, and her son Michael, all of whom she loved deeply.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 20, from 9 AM to 10 AM at Wages and Sons Stone Mountain Chapel 1040 Main Street Stone Mountain Georgia, 30083, followed by a service at 10 AM. Dollie will be laid to rest at Melwood Cemtery following the funeral service.

In honoring Dollie’s memory, let us remember the joy she brought to our lives and the love she shared with all.
