Donald S. Standridge

Donald S. Standridge Sr. age 81 of Snellville passed away on Tuesday October the 11th of 2022 following a period of declining health. Born in Lula Georgia on Friday May the 16th of 1941. He was the son of the late Pauline Estelle Hawkins and Howell Sullivan Standridge. He was also preceded in death by children Donnie Sullivan Standridge Jr. and Tonya Lyndsey. He was also preceded in death by his children’s mother Gloria Cash Johnson and sister Pat Smith.

He enjoyed deer hunting, was an avid NASCAR fan and his favorite driver was #9 Chase Elliot. He also enjoyed watching the Georgia Bulldogs. Surviving are sons Keith (Cindy) Standridge of Social Circle, brothers Howell (Mary ) Standridge of McDonough, Johnny Standridge of Hiram and Billy Standridge of Lithonia. Also surviving is sister Naomi Bryant of Lithonia. He has 3 grandchildren, Pricilla, Dana, and Lisa Marie. Also surviving were several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday October 14th of 2022 from Wages and Sons Chapel in Stone Mountain, with Pastor Paul Pittard officiating. Interment will follow in the Eternal Hills Memory Gardens in Snellville Georgia. The family will see friends from Friday at 10 am until the funeral hour.
