Donald W Smith

Donald Wayne Smith passed away on October 31st, 2012 in Suwanee, GA. He was born in New Castle, PA to George and Rebecca Corbin Smith on July 29, 1950. Don was a graduate of the Penn State University and worked as an engineer on many road and bridge construction projects from Hawaii to the Southeast, he was recently retired from Gwinnett County. Don was a great friend, father, and grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew him. Don is survived by his wife of 26 years, Deborah Anne Smith, and his children, Patrick Smith of Suwanee, GA, David Smith of Youngstown, OH, Michael Becky Smith of Struthers, OH and Jennifer Karl Hartzell of Youngstown, OH. Also his sisters, Sharon Samsa of Edinburgh, PA, Linda Franklin Billyk of New Castle, PA, his brother, Kenny Georgina Smith of Bessemer, PA and many nieces and nephews. There will be no formal service. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in his name to The American Heart Association.
