Dorothy (Dottie) Jean Lasserre

Dorothy (Dottie) Jean Lasserre, born December 26, 1930, passed away peacefully July 4, 2020.

She was the beloved wife for 63 years of the late Joseph (Joe) Lasserre. She was a devoted mother to son, David Lasserre of El Prado NM; and daughter, Peggy Lasserre Rowden (Clay) of Dacula GA. She was the proud grandmother of, Michael Rowden Lasserre (Rachel) of Birmingham, AL. She is survived by her brother, Harry Ritchie Jr. (Shirley), sister, Sharon Parker (Harvey) and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry Ritchie and Margarette Ritchie; sisters, Kathleen Kauppala, Margaret Kiraly and Mary Lou Gros. The family would like to thank the employees of Retreat at Buford for their expressions of love & kindness.

A private interment was held at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Duluth GA for immediate family. A memorial service will be planned at a future date.
