Dorothy Lee Jones

An angel returned to the Lord on March 13, 2014. Dorothy Lee Jones was born in Letcher, Kentucky on March 25, 1934. She married Robert Wayne Jones in 1953 and spent 14 years following him in the military and moved to Stone Mountain in 1967. They spent 60 years together in marriage. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and friend to many. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Diane Jones. She was beloved by all, especially the children of many generations. They ran Jones Grocery in the center of town. She is survived by her husband, Robert and her two sons, Dennis Wayne Jones and David Layne Jones, grandchildren, James Jones, Dianne Jones, Elizabeth Jones, Christine Jones, Emma Jones, Evan Jones, Adam Jones, Aaron Jones, Afton Jones, Todd Letcher, Elizabeth Benedict, Zack Jones and Dylan Jones, brothers, James Crase, Bill Crase, Bob Crase, Charlie Crase, Ken Crase, Roger Crase and sister Susie Crase. Funeral Services will be held Sunday March 16, 2014 at Wages & Sons Chapel at 11:00 A.M. with Dr. Lamar Holley officiating. Interment Eternal Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday March 15th from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Wages & Sons Stone Mountain Chapel.
