Eddie Theadore Faulkner, age 78, of Lilburn, Georgia, passed away on July 4, 2026. Born on July 14, 1947, in Albany, Georgia, Eddie lived a life defined by hard work, devotion to his family, and an unmistakable sense of humor. A proud graduate of Albany High School, he faithfully served his country in the National Guard before building a successful career as an entrepreneur.
Eddie never met a stranger. He was known for his kind heart, wicked sense of humor, and infectious laugh that could brighten any room. He had a remarkable ability to make people smile and left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him. To his family, he was a steadfast protector whose love and presence made them feel safe and cared for.
For 50 years, Eddie shared a loving marriage with his beloved wife, Rosemary Faulkner. Together they built a life centered on faithfulness, family, and countless cherished memories. He adored his children, grandchildren, and extended family, especially his relatives in Albany. Affectionately known as "Pop" by his grandchildren, he treasured every opportunity to spend time with them.
Eddie found joy in the simple things. He loved landscaping, took great pride in keeping his backyard beautiful, and enjoyed listening to music. His backyard was his happy place: a place where family gathered, laughter echoed, and memories were made.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Faulkner; his mother, Sudie Faulkner; and his brother, James Macolly.
Eddie is lovingly survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Rosemary Faulkner; his sons and daughters-in-law, Buster and Tia Faulkner, Grant and Alissa Faulkner, and Todd and Melanie Faulkner; his beloved grandchildren, Harrison, Hadley, Haisy, Cooper, Josh, Price, Pace, and Palmer; his brothers, Ray Macolly, Jimmie Faulkner, and Rex Faulkner; his sister, Kathryn Hightower; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.
A celebration of life will be held ay 11:00AM on Friday, July 10, 2026, at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy., Lawrenceville GA 30046. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society in support of pancreatic cancer research, or donations made to Grace Athens Church.
