Edith L. Joffre

Edith L. Joffre (Ediee), age 81, Passed away on August 11, 2020 at her daughter’s home in Flowery Branch Georgia. Ediee married her beloved husband of 48 years, Roch, on Dec 26, 1959 and they enjoyed a beautiful marriage which blessed them with 4 children. They were a military family, and loved traveling the world together. Their favorite destination was Hawaii which they visited 13 times. In her free time she enjoyed reading, knitting, making rosaries, and jewelry design. She also loved singing and harmonizing to all kinds of music. Ediee lived a great life of love and faith in the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Edith Lyles and her brother Raymond Lyles all from Lakeland Florida, along with her husband, Dr. Roch R. Joffre who passed away in 2008. She is survived by her four children, Deborah Joffre of Marietta Georgia, Eric (Kathy) Joffre of Midland Michigan, Karl Joffre of Dacula Georgia, and Melanie (Randy) Smith of Flowery Branch Georgia, along with her 13 grandchildren and 9 great grand children. Funeral Services will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Flowery Branch GA on August 28th at 2:30pm. She will also have a memorial service at Grace Community Church in Buford GA on August 30th at 3pm. Ediee will always be missed, but for now, our memories will live in our hearts until the Grace of God brings us together again.
