Edward Lee Fulghum, born February 13, 1933, in Wrightsville, GA.

Married to Bobbie Jean Fulghum (Deceased) for 51 years. Ed is survived by his sons, Kenneth (Carla) Athens, GA, David Winterville, GA, and Ty (Paul) Knoxville, TN. His grandchildren Samantha, Tyler, Tate, Tess, Savannah and great grandchildren Riley, Blakeston, Jon David, Scarlett, Annabelle, and Magnolia.

Ed enlisted in the Army in 1950, and he and Bobbie travelled the world through his posted positions. Ed reached the rank of Command Sergeant Major. He was awarded 3 purple hearts, two bronze stars, one Silver Star and the Legion of Merit. Ed served two deployments in the Korean War, and two deployments in Vietnam. Ed retired from the Army in 1980 after 30 years of dedicated service.

Ed and his son's owned and ran O'Malleys Tavern and O'Malleys Espirt Health Club in Athens, GA for 15 years. After his time with O'Malleys Ed spent his time doing what he loved most - taking care of the love of his life, Bobbie Jean.

Ed will be laid to rest with Bobbie Jean at Georgia National Cemetery located in Canton, GA.
