Edward Gary Garrett

Edward Gary Garrett, 86, of Atlanta Georgia passed away on May 14th. A celebration of his life will be held 11 AM on May 18th at the Assembly of God Tabernacle on 1580 Agape Way Decatur, Georgia 30035.Interment will follow in the Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs, with military honors provided by the United States Air Force. Friends and family may visit from 5 PM to 8 PM on May 17th at Wages and Sons Funeral Home at 1040 Main Street Stone Mountain Georgia 30083. Mr. Garrett will be placed in the church from 10:00 AM until the Funeral Hour. Gary served with distinction during the Korean War. After the war, he returned to Atlanta where he worked for General Motors for 34 years until retirement in 1989. Upon retirement, he was able to dedicate himself full time to his real passion which was serving at his church.
