He especially loved spending time with his family, enjoying nature, and caring for his beloved pond.
Throughout his working years, Edward used his creative talents in department stores, where he designed beautiful displays and advertising that brought joy to customers. He later served others as a Medicare representative, offering guidance and support to those in need. His faith was an important part of his life, and he was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings during his life, including a mission to Hawaii.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Nelson Malone, Ileta Turpin Malone and his brother, Ronald Malone.
Edward is survived by his loving wife, Linda Malone; his son, Gregory Malone (Ana); his daughter, Heather Mumm; his cherished grandchildren, Isabelle, Dominic, and Marcelo Malone; Landon, Kyran (Josie), Zade, Riya, Tayla and Calista Mumm; his precious great-granddaughter, Juniper Mumm and his sister, Katherine (Alan) Binder. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will remember his gentle spirit and creative heart.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3355 Sugarloaf Parkway, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30044.
