Elizabeth Bennett Freeman

Elizabeth Bennett Freeman, age 88, passed away peacefully Wednesday April 4, 2018. Elizabeth was born in Paulding County, GA on January 25, 1930. She grew up in Paulding County and married her high school sweetheart Harold Freeman. She is preceded in death by her husband Harold Freeman. She is survived by her son David Freeman and daughter-in-law Nina Freeman, Daughter Wanda Hickman, 5 grandchildren, Brad Freeman & wife Donna, Kelly Graber & Husband Chris, Leah Ferguson & Husband Will, Lindsey Hickman & husband Jon Paul Davis and Lauren Hickman & husband Joel Ross. 6 Great Grandchildren, Jason Freeman, Matthew Freeman, Krista Freeman, Ansley Graber, Jackson Graber and William Ferguson. Elizabeth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She always put others first and made sure her family was taken care of before considering her own needs. She made a tremendous impact on her two children, instilling values that would shape their entire lives. She was thought of as a “beautiful and gracious southern lady”, well liked and deeply loved by all. While often quiet and reserved and standing in the background, she possessed a great sense of humor and would often startle those around her with her humorous and profound comments. Visitations will be Saturday, April 7, 2018, from 5 to 8 PM and also on Sunday, April 8, 2018, from 1-2 PM at Wages and Sons Funeral Home in Lawrenceville, GA www.wagesandsons.com. Funeral services will be at Wages and Sons at 2 PM on Sunday, April 8, 2018. Burial will be 4 PM in Morris Cemetery at 4100 Hiram Lithia Springs Road Powder Springs, GA 30127.
