Elroy "Mac" James Mcmurtrie

Elroy “Mac” McMurtrie, Age 74 of Lawrenceville passed away on Monday July 2, 2018 following a lengthy Illness. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday July 9, 2018 at Gwinnett Memorial Park, Lawrenceville. Elroy is preceded in death by his daughter Teri Lee Wandell, parents Dorset & Anna McMurtrie of Lodi, California, brother Thomas McMurtrie also from Lodi, California. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Nancy McMurtrie, Grandson, Phillip McMurtrie of Lawrenceville, Granddaughter, Alisa McMurtrie of Jefferson, Georgia, Great Granddaughters, Asila and Sila Lee of Jefferson, Georgia. Also his brother Raymond (Wanda) McMurtrie of Lodi, Calfornia along with many nieces and nephews and lifelong friend Paul Tennison. Elroy was a Navy veteran. He belonged to the Gwinnett County Veterans Memorial Museum group from the American Legion Post 232 of Snellville, Georgia. He also belong to the Friendly Flyers model airplane club.
