Esad Kunovac

Esad ‘Ace’ Kunovac passed away peacefully with his children by his side. He is survived by his son Damir, his daughter Dijana, his grandson John Amir, and his siblings, Rešad, Senada, and Senad.

Esad was born in Foča, Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he proudly served in the Yugoslav People’s Army and the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, before immigrating to the United States in the 90s. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Sarajevo, with a degree in electrical engineering. His work took him all over the world.

He enjoyed music, tennis, gardening, good coffee, fishing, and going out on the water. More than anything, he loved spending time with his grandson, whom he affectionately called ‘Sočmo.’

He is forever loved and missed by his family and friends.
