Fillipo Yamoah Opuni Adarkwah was born on July 30, 1994, in Konongo, Ghana. He was the first child of Mr. Collins Yamoah Opuni and Mrs. Theresa Opuni. For several years, he lived in Ghana with his parents and sister, Abigail Opuni. From an early age, Fillipo placed importance on family. Every morning, he walked his younger sister and cousins to school, and he was always generous with his food and money. He was generous with those around him even as a young child, and many people admired his compassionate nature.
In 2006, Fillipo immigrated to the United States with his parents and sister to Georgia, where he attended Pinckneyville Middle School and continued at Richards Middle School, then attended Central Gwinnett High School. Growing up, he had many hobbies and interests. He played drums for his church and other churches in the community. In addition to drumming, Fillipo enjoyed playing basketball, bowling, and spending time with his family and friends. He also loved the Lakers and Miami Heat. He always looked forward to the beginning of every NBA season.
Fillipo graduated from high school in 2012 and continued his education at Georgia Gwinnett College, where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. After college, Fillipo worked at the Georgia Department of Driver Services in Lithonia, Georgia. In April 2023, he had his daughter, Felicity Abrielle Opuni Brown, whom he cherished dearly.
Fillipo brought joy to everyone he encountered, and he won the hearts of those around him. To his family, he was a devoted son, brother, and father. He found joy in the simplest things in life and encouraged his family to celebrate all moments in life. Fillipo will definitely be missed, and we will forever honor the precious moments and memories we shared with him.
