Florrie E Palmer

The warm and caring soul of Florrie Irwin Palmer left this earth on August 23, 2013. She was born on March 14, 1909. In 1928 she moved from Buckhead, GA, to Atlanta and she joined Central Presbyterian Church and went to work for Randall Fuel Co. On April 4, 1935, she married Clarence Edwin Palmer. Mrs. Palmer was predeceased by her husband of 63 years and "son" Marshall Neil, and she is survived by her "Children", Mary Virginia & Ed Shores, Charlotte Neil, Elizabeth Neil, Laura & Fred Palmer, Bridges & Betsy Smith, 9 "grands" and 17 "greats". In lieu of flowers memorials to Central Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will be held September 8, 2013 at 2:00 at Central Presbyterian Church, with The Rev. Gary W. Charles and Libby Smith Percell officiating. Graveside service will be held Monday August 26, 2013 at Arlington Memorial Park, Sandy Springs. Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel. 770-277-4550.
