Ford Edsel Owen, Jr. of Snellville passed away on Monday, May 30th, 2016. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Ford Owen will be held on Sunday, June 5th at 4:00 p.m. in the Wages and Sons Chapel located at 1031 Lawrenceville, Hwy., Lawrenceville, GA. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 before the service.
Ford was preceded in death by his parents, Ford Edsel Owen, Sr. and Mary Lloyd Cunningham. He is survived by: his wife of 26 years, Phyllis Owen; daughters Shelly Owen Snell, Heather Owen Byrd and Teresa Lloyd Owen; son Ford Edsel Owen, III (Tripp); 3 grandchildren, Luke Ferrando, Sydney Ferrando and Harper Byrd; sister Emily Cate; brother-in-law Harry Cate.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
