Frances L. Almond

Frances L. Almond, 78 of Decatur passed away after a 27 day illness at Emory Hospital. She was a loving mother and devoted wife. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, James R. Almond; children, Linda and Don Johns, Debbie and John Horlock, Pam and Doug Castro, and Kimberly Gaisford; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Monday January 4, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Wages and Sons Stone Mountain Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to Georgia Baptist College of Nursing Scholarship Fund, 3001 Mercer University Dr. Atlanta, GA. 30342.
