Frances Bond Strohecker

Frances Bond (Betty) Strohecker, 94, passed away in Atlanta, GA on July 19, 2018. Betty and her husband of 57 years, John William Strohecker, raised three children, Karen (Bert) Skellie, Brad (Karen) Strohecker, and Jim (Nancy) Strohecker in Oak Ridge, Tennessee They met working on the Manhattan Project and Betty played a vital role at the First Methodist Church from its beginning. Memorial services will be held August 18, 2018 at 2:00 pm at King’s Bridge Retirement Community, 3055 Briarcliff Road, NE, Atlanta, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Betty’s name to Atlanta Community Food Bank.
