Freddie L Cummings

Freddie Lamar Cummings, 1-19-1949 – 7-4-2019. He is survived by his wife Melanie, Son Randall Gooden, daughter Brenda Cummings, Step sons Tony Coker and Jason Coker, Grandson Solomon Coker, Brother Ken Cummings, Sisters Ellen Biggs and Robin Miller, and numerous nieces and nephews. After his tour of duty in Vietnam , he returned to work at Bell South where he worked thirty years and retired. He was a beloved husband and father. He was an eminent tinkerer and fixer of things. He was a friend to all he met, and will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held at Wages and Sons Gwinnett Chapel, 1031 Lawrenceville Highway, Lawrenceville GA 30046, on Saturday, July 13, at 3pm .  The family will receive friends and guests beginning at 1pm . In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either Disabled American Veterans or Folds of Honor .
