Garland Bernard Everett Mr

Garland B. Everett, age 64, died Monday, December 16, 2013. He was born to the late Thomas and Vonnie Everett in Gadsden, AL. He attended Lakeview High School in Fort Oglethorpe, class of 1967. He married Patricia Everett in 1992, and they lived in Lawrenceville, GA. Garland served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He was a Maintenance Tech at FedEx Ground before retiring. He was A GT Yellow Jacket and enjoyed tailgating at the game with his wife and their friends. Garland is survived by his daughter, Shanna Matthews and step-son Christopher (Cristina) Haire, sister, Janice (Glenn) Carroll and their sons Austin and Wesley of Ooltewah, TN. Garland is also survived by 2 grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday December 28th at 10:00 am at Wages & Sons Gwinnett Chapel 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy.
