Garland E. Phelps

Garland Phelps age 90 of Atlanta, GA passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015. In 2012, Garland was awarded the coveted 50 years Masonic Membership Apron. He was a member of Capitol View Lodge # 640 F. & A.M., and a 32nd degree in Scottish Rite in the Atlanta Consistory. Garland became a Noble in Yaarab Shrine in 1974 and was a charter member of the Northeast and Northeast Dekalb Shrine Clubs. Surviving are wife of 46 years, Darlene Phelps of Atlanta, children: Spencer(Christine) Phelps of Orlando FL., Michael (Roberta) Phelps of Bartlett TN., Jimmy (Denise) Phelps of Marianna FL., and Kim Phelps Garrison of Atlanta, Eight Grandchildren and Three Great Grandchildren also survive. Funeral Services are 3:00 PM Monday, February 23, 2015 at the Wages & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Royeese Stowe, and Marcus Barela officiating.
