George Maxwell Hoak Mr.

George Maxwell Hoak, 90, of Atlanta passed away January 16, 2014 at Emory University Hospital. He served in the U. S. Army in World War II, retired as a career civil servant in financial management with the U.S. Army at the Atlanta Army Depot/Fort Gillam and Fort MacPherson. George loved books and was owner of Memorable Books in Stone Mountain, Georgia. Family and friends of George Hoak will gather for a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2014. Services are at Shallowford Presbyterian Church, 2375 Shallowford Road, NE, Atlanta, Georgia 30345. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shallowford Presbyterian Church.
