Gia Trong Nguyen

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved father, Mr. Nguyen Trong Gia, on March 8, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on August 19, 1940, in Hai Phong, Vietnam, Mr. Trong Gia pursued higher education and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the Vietnamese Faculty of Science. On March 7, 1971, he married his devoted wife, and together they built a beautiful life, raising two sons.

In 1993, the family immigrated to the United States, settling in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mr. Trong Gia furthered his education, earning an Associate Degree in Electronics from Milwaukee Technical College. He then worked as an automation technician until his retirement in 2015. Following his retirement, he and his wife moved to Lilburn, Georgia, to be closer to their grandsons.

He found great joy in reading, accompanying his wife on her daily shopping trips, staying connected with friends and extended family, and, most of all, cherishing time with his grandsons.

Mr. Trong Gia is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, his two sons and their wives, two grandsons, and his siblings. His kindness, wisdom, and devotion to his family will always be remembered.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on March 12, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Wages & Sons Funeral Home, 1031 Lawrenceville Hwy, Lawrenceville, GA. For inquiries, please contact (770) 277-4550.
