Hal Ellis Sparks

Hall Ellis Sparks age 74 of Loganville, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 16, 2018. He was born May 22, 1944 in Spruce Pine, North Carolina to Hankins and Myrtle Sparks who precede him in death. He and Ann Gentry Sparks, his wife of 54 years, were married in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1964. Hal was retired from Old Dominion Freight Line after 22 years of service. He was a member of Snellville First Baptist Church. Survivors include: Daughter – Nancy (David M.) Daniel of Gainesville, GA, Daughter – Sandra (Thomas L.) DuMay of Winder, GA, Grandchildren – Reid Daniel and Mitchell Daniel of Gainesville, GA, Amber DuMay, Brooke DuMay, and Taylor DuMay of Winder, GA, Sister – Carolyn (Carl) Diemer of Lynchburg, VA, Sister – Evelyn (Dan) Slagle of Raleigh, NC, and including several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 20, at 10:00am at Snellville First Baptist, with services to follow at 11:00am and Minister Lawton Roberts officiating.
