Ford, Harold Kelly Ford, Sr., 83, of Stone Mountain, GA; passed away February 24, 2016. Preceded in death by his wife, Milbia Ford and survived by his son and two daughters. Hal Ford (Debbie), Monticello; Valarie Labandero, Conyers; and Melanie Atchley (Dennis) Monroe, GA. six grandchildren, Jesson Whited, Adrienne Harper, Amber Landers, Erica Hughes, Kristen Craig and Kelly Ford. Twelve great grandchildren, Alex, Ansley and Ava Harper, Hannah and Ethan Whited, Ryan, Adam and Molly Landers, Caroline, Madelyn and Rory Hughes, Tori Craig. Two Brothers, Dallas (Dimp) Ford, Snellville; Gene C. Ford, Snellville. Mr. Ford was a U.S. Airforce Veteran serving during the Korean War Era. He retired after 30 years with General Motors Lakewood Division as an auto body metal finisher. Active member of the American Legion, Snellville, GA. Had a love for country music and was a band member for several years frequencing the GA Mountain Blue Grass festivals. Great love for fishing, deep sea fishing, boating, camping and going to Panama City Beach. Always enjoyed the company of his family and friends and never met a stranger. The funeral service will be held Saturday February 27, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Wages and Sons Stone Mountain Chapel with the Rev. Ed Beusse officiating. Burial will follow at Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday February 26th from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Wages and Sons.
