Harold Wayne Green

Harold Wayne Green of Stone Mountain, GA passed away on May 28, 2015. He was born in Spottsville, KY on April 14, 1929. He was a veteran who served in the United States Navy and a proud graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA with a BS in Geology.He was a dedicated civil servant of the US Department of Agriculture, and retired after 25 years of service. He is survived by his wife Verne Lefebvre Green, Stone Mountain, GA; son David Green MD, Dallas, TX; daughter Julie Clowe and son-in-law Greg Clowe, Johns Creek, GA; son Eric Green, Hollywood, FL; and grandsons Justin and Zachary Clowe. He is also survived by his sister Sally Carter, Henderson, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, A.J. and Carrie Green and two brothers and five sisters. The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to the healthcare team at Emory University Hospital-especially the Neuro Intensive Care Unit team. Visitation Monday June 1, 6-8PM and service Tuesday, June 2 11AM-both at Wages and Sons in Stone Mountain, GA. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice. There will be a catered BBQ lunch after the service and all are welcome.
