Henry Raymond "Butch" Young, Jr.

Henry Raymond Young, Jr. ( Butch) 73, passed away at his home in Lawrenceville, Georgia on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 surrounded by loved ones. He was born April 21, 1944 in Bayside, New York the youngest of three children to the late Emma H. and Henry R. Young , Sr. He is survived by his wife of 52 years: Louise M. Young; son: Daryl Young; daughter: Monique (Mimi) Young; four grandchildren: Sidni Bull, Myles Young, Kelsey Bull , Tyler Young; a sister: Loretta Napier, as well as, beloved nieces ,nephews and life- long friends. Butch served in the United States Air Force as Master Sargent during the Vietnam War with extended tour in the Philippines. He worked for NYNEX (AT&T) in Project Management , advancing through the ranks before his eventual retirement. He was an avid Football fan who remained loyal to the New York Jets. Butch also enjoyed fishing, hunting, technology and building remote control planes/cars. Butch enjoyed life, he was of quick wit and possessed a hearty, robust laugh that we will all remember with fond memory.
