It is with profound sadness and heartfelt love that we announce the passing of Henry Avula Inyagwa, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished brother, and loyal friend, who passed away on June 1, 2026, at the age of 61 in Georgia.

Henry was born on August 14, 1964, in Vihiga County, Kenya, to the late Jotham Inyagwa and Respah Adega Inyagwa. From an early age, he embodied kindness, resilience, and a deep appreciation for family and community. These qualities remained the foundation of his life and touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Known for his jovial spirit and easy-going nature, Henry had a remarkable ability to make others feel welcome and at ease. His warm smile, infectious laughter, and genuine sense of humor brightened countless lives. He was the kind of person who could strike up a conversation with anyone and leave them feeling like an old friend.

Henry was an active member of the Kenyan community, faithfully participating in community gatherings, celebrations, and cultural events. He took great pride in maintaining connections with family and friends locally with ANG and nationwide with ANDIMI. He was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever needed.

A gifted cook, Henry was famous for preparing what many affectionately described as five-star meals. Cooking was one of his greatest joys, and sharing food was his way of expressing love. His home was always an open door—a place where family, friends, and guests could gather, share stories, enjoy a meal, and feel a sense of belonging.

Henry was also an adventurous soul who embraced life with enthusiasm and curiosity. He loved traveling, exploring new places in nature, and creating lasting memories with those he loved. Whether embarking on a road trip, discovering a new destination, or simply enjoying time with family, he approached every experience with excitement and gratitude. His adventurous spirit inspired others to embrace life fully and appreciate every moment.

Above all, Henry treasured his family. He found his greatest happiness in spending time with his loved ones and creating memories that will be cherished forever.

Henry leaves behind a legacy of love, generosity, laughter, and unwavering devotion to family and community. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marlene Inyagwa; his loving daughters, Natalie Inyagwa and Caroline Anyonso; his brothers and sisters; and his many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends whose lives were enriched by his presence.

Though he is no longer with us, Henry's kindness, humor, wisdom, and love will continue to live in the hearts of all who knew him.
