Hetal Patel-Shah

July 26, 1987 — September 11, 2025

Hetal “Hetu” Patel Shah, age 38, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on September 11, 2025. She was born on July 26, 1987, in Patterson, New Jersey, to Janak and Meena Patel.

Hetu was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew her. She grew up with a love of learning and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Georgia, followed by a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from Roosevelt University. Professionally, she excelled as a Business Improvement Manager, where her strong work ethic and commanding presence earned the respect of her colleagues.

She was a devoted member of Shree Shakti Mandir and the Jain Society of Metropolitan Chicago, living out her Hindu faith through service, devotion, and kindness.

Hetu’s life was filled with energy, joy, and passion. She loved cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs, exploring fashion, committing herself to health, fitness, garba, eating dessert and travel. Above all, she cherished time with her family, who always felt loved, special, and proud because of her unwavering care and affection.

Her presence brought warmth, laughter, and happiness wherever she went. Friends and loved ones remember her as energetic, loving, fun, and caring—a person who could light up a room and put a smile on everyone’s face.

Hetu is survived by her beloved husband, Vishal Shah; her cherished daughter, Mila Shah; her loving parents, Janak and Meena Patel; and her adoring sister, Tejal Patel. Her memory will forever live in their hearts and in the lives of all who were touched by her spirit.

Hetu will be remembered as a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend—an extraordinary woman whose love, energy, and light will never be forgotten.
