It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Himansubhai Mangalbhai Patel, who departed this world on August 8, 2024, at the age of 68. Born on May 9, 1955, in Sanjaya, Gujarat, India, Himansubhai made his home in Atlanta, GA, USA, where he lived a life filled with joy, laughter, and boundless love for his family.
Himansubhai graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from BVM Engineering College and had a successful career in his field. He was a dedicated professional who approached his work with the same passion and enthusiasm he reserved for his hobbies.
A lifelong fan of the Indian cricket team, Himansubhai’s love for the sport was evident in his spirited conversations and unwavering support. He was also an avid foodie with a special fondness for BBQ corn on the cob and Indian sweets, particularly ladoo. His zest for life extended to the dance floor, where he was always the first to show his moves. Bollywood oldies, especially the music of Kishore Kumar and Mohamed Rafi, were close to his heart. His daily routine included 6-mile walks, regardless of the weather.
Himansubhai was a devoted Hindu, and his religious faith was a cornerstone of his life. His love for his grandchildren was unmatched, and he found the greatest joy in spoiling them and being an integral part of their lives.
