Hubert Dixon, Jr.

Hubert Dixon Jr. passed away unexpectedly on February 27,2023. His untimely death has deeply saddened and shocked the family. Hubert Dixon Jr. was born October 10,1962 in Benton, Mississippi to the proud parents of Corintha Dixon and the late Hubert Dixon Sr. He eventually made his home in Yazoo City, Mississippi. Hubert at an early age, confessed a belief in Christ and united with Bethel A.M.E Church in Yazoo City Mississippi, under the leadership of Rev. G. Moore.

Hubert went to Yazoo City Public School and participated in basketball and tennis. He was also a member of the Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA). After graduation from high school, Hubert attended Tougaloo College (HBCU) in the Tougaloo area of Jackson, Mississippi and Holmes Community College in Goodman, Mississippi where he received an associate degree in Welding.

Hubert and Lillie were overjoyed when their son Jody was born in 1986. Hubert married the love of his life, Lillie, on March 18, 1988. After that, the family decided to relocate to Atlanta, Georgia. Hubert had a vision of becoming an entrepreneur in 1990, which he later realized with the help of his wife. Hubert ran his Janitorial services H & L Cleaning Inc. for over 20 years with great success. Hubert was very proud of his company, and he believed in his brand of business.

Hubert will be remembered and deeply missed by his lovely wife Lillie Dixon, as well as his two children Jody Cordalrro and Olivia Imana Dixon. Barbara Dixon Ross, Cassandra Matthews (Andrew), and Deidra Nicole Washington (Eric) are three sisters, and Vernon Livingston, Gregory Dixon (Sonya), and Patrick Dixon are three brothers. There were numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, relatives, goddaughter, and friends.
