Hugh Heckle

Hugh Joseph Heckle, 95, of Dunwoody, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, November 21, 2010. He was born in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. He was married to Evelee Chadwick, who preceded him in death, for 62 years. He is survived by his daughter, Linda Stephens and her husband, Wiley; son, Richard of Saint Simons Island, Georgia, and his wife, Barbara; four grandchildren: Berry Stephens Jr., Kelley Johnston and her husband, Ronnie; Shay Heckle; Chad Heckle and his wife, Sara; five great-grandchildren: Brittany, Zac, Katie, and Sidney Johnston and Ariami Heckle. He was also survived by one sister of twelve siblings, Grace Wilbur. He was a craftsman, outdoorsman, and had a career as an industrial engineer with General Electric, General Times, and Ty-Car. A Celebration of his life will be held at Dunwoody United Methodist Church on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the sanctuary, with a greeting immediately following the service.
